Pottsville alumni, Dr. Brandi Hodge, returned to inspire Mrs. Prince and Ms. Rollan’s 8th-grade Career Development classes with an engaging discussion about her career as a dentist. Her insights and expertise offered students a valuable glimpse into the world of dentistry and the path to professional success. Thank you, Dr. Hodge, for sharing your time and knowledge!


Pottsville Day for Arkansas Tech University Basketball is March 1st! Teachers and students wear a Pottsville t-shirt and get free adminssion to the basketball games. ATU Women (Golden Suns) play at 1:00pm and ATU Men (Wonder Boys) play at 3:00pm, Saturday March 1st, 2025! Personal Communication students learned about growth and fixed mindset this week. Students created posters and presented.


Students in 7th grade Social Studies class honored Holocaust Remembrance Week with a captivating lesson in which they learned about various laws and decrees issued by the Nazi regime which targeted Jews, the elderly, the disabled, etc.

Pottsville Junior High Beta Club members recently competed at Arkansas State Beta Convention in Hot Springs. Lexi Zink placed 1st in state for on-site art, Ziva Evants placed 4th in state for poetry, Owen Killingsworth placed 5th in state for 7th grade computer science, and Jaystin Brigance placed 1st in state for 7th grade health and physical education. We are so proud of our Betas and their hard work!


This week at Pottsville High School, Ms. Nelson's students walked through multiple to steps to create their masterpieces of "action painting," a style of abstract and spontaneous art that is truly beautiful.

Today during IV Time, Russellville Mayor Fred Teague engaged with our students, discussing important topics like servant leadership, his job responsibilities, and the various opportunities for students to get involved and serve in our community.

The PHS softball team served pancakes and sausage for their spring fundraiser. They did an amazing job serving their guests on Sunday, and Stoby's will never be the same again!
