PHS is proud of Chandler Fryar (US Government) and Peyton Shewmake (Art) for their AP exam results. Both made a 5 and have the Pottsville swag to prove it!



On Friday, PHS robotics students had the exciting opportunity to meet Smokey and Pepper, two Aibo robot dogs brought in by one of their peers. These remarkable robots showcase cutting-edge technology and embody many of the core concepts that students will be exploring throughout the year in our robotics program.


PHS students took a quick quiz over the school handbook, and Caleb Lewis enjoyed a Sonic after his name was drawn from the nearly 200 students who scored 10/10!


Mrs. Kendrick's AP Environmental Science class spent the first week of school learning about plant systems. Rael and Jack worked on their chalk masterpieces Friday afternoon. An engaging activity for our students!




PHS offers strength training for all interested students, and the coaches and athletes (mostly) enjoyed each moment of it!


PHS welcomed students new to the district with a small party on Friday: they enjoyed snacks, goodie bags (with Pottsville swag), and a student panel. The first Welcome Wagon was a success!



#FancyFriday! This national trend made its way to PHS where Mr. Dean, Mr. Melton, Mrs. Storm, and Mrs. Ham dressed in their finest. Join us next Friday by wearing your best 'fit!

Mrs. Sullivan's statistics class played games to learn about each other's learning styles and to improve verbal communication. Who says math class can't be fun?
